Hi! I’m Katie

Let's get to know each other! I live in Kansas City but grew up in Texas. I have two dogs - Space Camper and Olive Garden. I love reading, paddle boarding, spending time in the desert, and picking up hobbies that I drop a week later. I’ve been married since September of 2022 (so I’ve recently done the wedding planning thing).

My favorite thing in the world is capturing memories, and I still get weepy when capturing the really impactful ones. I may or may not shed a tear behind the camera, don't worry about it. My hope is that I can create a space for you and your partner to be yourselves so I can capture your love as authentically as possible. Everyone's love story deserves to be shared, and I'm here to help share yours.

My goal is to create photos that are authentic & timeless. I promise you’ll love them just as much in 50 years as you do today!

Overall my photography style is very laid back and natural. I am a documentary-style photographer, meaning I capture candid moments over posed shots. The little in-between moments make for the best photos, and I’m not a fan of awkward poses and forced smiles. If you feel awkward in front of the camera, don’t even worry about it. I have plenty of bad jokes and embarrassing stories to make you feel comfy (I’ve also ripped my pants & gotten a nose bleed during a shoot, which really helped the comfort level).

There are only so many angles and poses and pretty locations - but what makes each photo special is the memories attached to it, and my goal is to make those unique to you!
